The whole process takes 6-10 weeks from the time we purchase the vehicle in Japan to the time it is and ready for you to take delivery.

We have been working closely with the same buying agent in Japan since 1995. This enables us to have access to the best range of vehicles. They are able to source vehicles from all of the major Japanese auction houses as well as dealerships.

If you are not sure which vehicle you are looking for, below is a link to the government list of eligible vehicles that can be imported. Please note all vehicles imported into Australia require a compliance process to meet strict Australian Design Rules. Check with us to confirm compliance plates are currently available on the vehicle you have chosen.

Process overview:

1. Let us know which vehicle you are looking to import.
2. We carry out extensive research regarding recently sold vehicles at auction houses in Japan to give you an accurate guide to the price you should expect to pay.
3. Working with our agent in Japan we will then search and locate a vehicle to purchase for you.
4. Once we have found a suitable vehicle, a full inspection is carried out by our agent and photos are emailed to us. At this point a deposit is required to purchase the vehicle.
5. We handle everything including transportation and all necessary importing paperwork. We will give you regular updates each step of the way.
6. Once the vehicle arrives in Australia we arrange the compliance and then we register the vehicle in your name. At this point the remaining balance is paid.
7. Time to pick up your car!
